Bocca di Scalella (1193m)

Despite trying to get a bit warm and dry without success in Bocognano, I decided against all reason to climb up yet another snowy pass (as this was the last of the cyclable passes above 1000m on the island I still had not climbed). I was thinking that if I only do this one I only then have to get ack to the ferry and should probably be able to make it. It was also not so cold going up the pass as one get a bit warm by climbing. There was more snow on this road and less cars so it was just about possible to get up at all on my bicycle. I had to get down really slowly. I went over another insignificant lower pass and then took the quickest way to the ferry and had an hour before the boat was leaving.
