How to get there |
The only climb up here that is normally thought on is the one starting in Haiming (679m) and this is a demanding climb on its own, even though it is usually combined with a climb up to Kühtai (2018m) and for the hardest climb, you can continue up to Speicher Finstertal (2343m/(2325m)), which would be one of the harder climbs in the Alps (22.2 km/1814m). The climb up from Oetz (781m) is easier even if longer. If you come down from the Kühtai you only have to go up from Wald (1539m). The gradients from Haiming are usually not over 12-14%, but for the most part around or over 10% until the last stretch where it flattens out. |
