How to get there | See the description for Colle dei Morti/Col di Morts (Fauniera) (2481m). Colle d’Esischie is the only pass you cannot avoid if going up and down different valleys here on the asphalted roads. It will be the only pass climbed if going directly between Ponte Marmora (Valle Maira) and Pradleves (Valle Grana). | |
Other comments | The road down to/from Ponte Marmora was in a mediocre state in 2002, but has probably been improved as it has been used in the Giro d’Italia in 2003. It is a good idea going down that way if you plan on going over the Colle di Sampeyre (2284m) next. [IT-CN-2366b] |
