How to get there |
From the south you start the climb either west of Chorges (855m) or if coming from Gap, you will take the most direct climb up here from La Bâtie-Neuve (857m), which is also the hardest climb. From the north the climbs are longer, but not so consistently steep. Either you start at Pont de la Guingerre (851m) on Route Napoleon or higher up at the St. Bonnet/Col du Noyer roundabout (970m). |
Other comments |
I have not been here yet, so I might change the evaluation of this climb later on. It should have some nice views in both directions and should be a nice alternative to the busy N85 over Col Bayard (1248m). See the map for other passes in the area.
