How to get there Near Bonneville this not so well-known climb starts in Thuet (461m). This is a quite hard climb for its modest height (8.6% on average) on an interesting and narrow road. One could alternatively climb this pass via Mont-Saxonnex (975m) starting either in Marnaz (501m) or from the Cluses area (501m) taking off the main road to Col de la Colombière (1608m) to Mont-Saxonnex early on. This is a cul-de-sac road for road cyclists.
Other comments The views are quite fine from the top, but otherwise there are not much views on this often wooded climb. There are two restaurants at Solaison. Be careful on the descent!
