Col de Siu/Sio (731m)

After finally getting down a long-winding and slowly descending gravel road (I may not have taken the quickest road down – quite difficult to understand which road to take and I will not try and give you a suggestion here), I started on the north climb to Col de Siu/Sio (731m). The road is aspahlted but very narrow, steep and with a lot of gravel. It is not long before you reach the col and from there it continues up but easier. It was here the first parachute troops from France landed in the 2nd WW when the germans/italians where driven away.
