Bocca d’Illarata/Col de Belase (991m)

At this point the road over Bocca d’Illarata/Col de Belase (991m) that winds it ways for almost 10 km on the top nearly flat suddenly drops down in endless twists and turns to Porto-Vecchio. (Here I just escaped the very cold and foggy weather on the top.) The road looks bad here, but it is only here, this road is one of the better on the island and it is a challenging and nice climb from the south for any bicyclist.
