Col de la Vaccia (1193m)
The pass height looking north toward Zicavo – the road here is typical for most of the length of it. Some kilometres further on was road work that I had heard should not be a problem and I even met 1-2 cars and a motorcycle, but maybe they were returning because there was no chance whatsoever that they could have passed on this road this day or week even. I had to walk around bulldozers and other heavy road working vehicles. Later down there was a section of maybe 75m filled with large stone blocks and dirt to the height of perhaps 4 m over all of the road and the edges and there was NO way to pass by any other means than walking and I had to balance on the edge of a precipice in loose dirt and stones carrying my bicycle. I do not think they could clear the road for normal vehicles in less than at least a week. (Very odd that there was 2-3 cars inbetween – maybe workers, but also a police jeep.)
